The mission of the American Legion Auxiliary is to support The American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of veterans, the military and their families. Through various programs, the Auxiliary also educates citizens, mentors youth, and promotes patriotism, citizenship, peace and security.
Membership is open to spouses, mothers, daughters, sisters, grandmothers, and granddaughters of veterans who served during wartime; some Auxiliary members are veterans themselves.
Visit your local American Legion Post. They will assist you in verifying your eligibility and joining the American Legion Auxiliary.
